Isabella Larco is an artist who works primarily in oil paint. She graduated this year with her BFA in painting and a concentration in Nature Culture Sustainability Sciences (NCSS) from the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD). She is currently based in Brooklyn, New York. Larco draws upon her history of collecting letters, exploring their physicality and simultaneous intangibility. She investigates this tension within domestic spaces, creating intimate moments of holding through exaggerated point of view perspectives. The compositions invite viewers to become witness to intimate moments of holding.
